I guess this quick blog is to answer a question I get asked all the time, does it matter if the street photo taken is in focus?

Been continuing with my London Cabbies project.

I've really been enjoying this project, most of the time when I'm doing street photography I find myself walking a fair bit. The thing with my London cabbies project is I don't really have to move too much, the subjects come to me.

On a very hot summers day the University students ascend onto the river Cam near Jesus lock in handmade boats. This event takes place after the students finish their exams and is part of the suicide Sunday. The boats are made from cardboard, glue and gaffer tape. I arrived to watch everyone finishing the boats and getting ready to enter the river. 

Sunlight, not for me. However this past Sunday (12th June) I was doing my usual street walk up and down Brick Lane when I found myself facing something I wasn’t use to. There was nothing going on and I was feeling uninspired.
