Towards the end of June this year I bought a Ricoh GRII, yes I was late to the party, but it's better to be late rather than never. The reason I bought one was the size and weight, I wanted a powerful camera that was every bit as good as my Fujifilm and the Ricoh more than fits that bill.

Is there a place for a contact sheet in digital photography, I would like to think so. When I first started photography I was shooting film and once I’d developed the roll I would then make a contact sheet.

Over the past few months, I’ve found myself shooting more and more in the Tate Modern, exploring the building at different times of the day and watching how the light changes.

I feel as street photographers we have a duty to document our lives so that people in the future will have something to look back to, this is every bit as important today as it was in our past. The thing is we also have to have respect, just because we can take a photo

The Ricoh GRII, a camera that has become second nature to me, let me start by saying that I’ve never bonded with a camera this fast, it feels like I’ve been shooting with the Ricoh GRII for years instead of it begin just 6 weeks. I love the freedom it gives me, not only in its weight but the fact that I don’t have to carry anything apart from a few spare batteries.
