Fujifilm dropped the ball

I’ve been having problems shooting with the Fujifilm X-T3, this has to be the worse camera Fujifilm has ever made and one of the worse cameras I’ve ever had the displeasure of using, it has the worse autofocus when paired with the Fujifilm 56mm lens and the worst colour profiles of any camera I’ve ever used.

How can this be when the X-T1 and X-T2 were and still are fantastic cameras across the board I never had a problem shooting with these 2 cameras, the autofocus never missed and the low light performance was amazing, I don’t understand how Fujifilm screwed this up. The autofocus was faster and more accurate on the original X-Pro 1 which again when paired with the Fujifilm 56mm never missed, I’ve been through the settings on the T3 multiple times trying to find the answer with no luck.

So I phoned Fujifilm to ask the question and was told it was all down to 56mm and why don’t I try a different lens, really Fuji that’s the answer you give. When I pointed out that I never had a problem with the lens until I switched to the T3 again I was told it had nothing to do with the camera and the fault was with the 56mm, I couldn’t believe this response.

The response and lack of help from Fuji have sealed its fate with me and I’ve moved away from Fuji, this is something I never thought I’d say after the first few months shooting with a Fuji camera I thought I was going to be a Fuji shooter for life, but I guess that’s not going to be the case.

After the lack of help from a company that once had a fantastic customer service team I sold my Fuji gear and have now moved back to Sony and that’s a decision that I don’t regret, but let's save that for another blog.

Goodbye Fujifilm.
