Halloween weekend

This year halloween falls on a Tuesday and therefore Saturday night was the party night where everyone is dressed up and ready full a night of horror, fun and yes lets not forget the drinking.

This is only my second Halloween in Liverpool and I really wanted to make the most of it. I headed into the city just after 5pm ready for a great night but to my surprise I found the city to be as dead as a cemetery that being said it didn’t take long for that to change.

When I got to bold street I found the start of a street parade for Halloween which I had no idea was happening and I jumped right in shooting, this got me buzzing and I was all ready for what this great city had to offer.

Once the parade finished I met up with my friend Adrian, Adrian is an amazing street photographer and whenever I'm around him I fell energised and inspired. We walked up to Bold street which had started to fill up with people dressed up in all manner of wonderful costumes, most heading towards concert square and so we followed shooting as we went.

We always seem to push each other to do better and tonight was no different we walked until we dropped, it felt as if we'd walked every part of the city centre and I know Adrian got some killer shots and I captured my best photo of 2023, which I've already shared on my blog.

All in all it was a great night and I had a lot of fun. I might head out on Halloween night just to see if its busy and if I do I’ll update here on the blog.

Bring on Halloween 2024
